Arimidex - What is it?

Arimidex is a drug for postmenopausal women who suffer breast cancer, it slows the growth of the cancer within the breast and other parts of the body.
Arimidex works by reducing the amount of hormone estrogen in the body; note that this is a hormonal treatment, not chemotherapy.

It can be used in combination with other drugs except for any other estrogen therapies, consult with your doctor or pharmacist first.
